His wife was by his side as he went to be with his Lord and Savior. He was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico to Raymond William and Irma Haydee Galmiche.

He was surrounded by his family as he went to be with his Lord and Savior. He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Martha Smith, his daughter, Cindy Williamson, and grandson, Gunnar Williamson, all of Gulf Breeze. He was born in LaGrange, GA on July 28, 1932 to Milton and Essie Smith.
